While working in a teacher’s union, Marcos Soto learned the value of working within systems and making persuasive arguments to help people. It did not take him long to choose to return to his education and earn the tools that would allow him to solve problems for the people around him.
Becoming a lawyer was the obvious choice, because Marcos knew it was the best way to serve people who truly needed the help, and for clients in dire circumstances, money earned in settlements can alleviate a host of problems.
Marcos earned his undergraduate degree at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and earned his law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston.
In his own view, litigation affords a mechanism to redress the negligence of others and properly compensate individuals who have been wronged by circumstances out of their control. Marcos has a passion for his work helping others and thoroughly enjoys fighting the insurance companies on behalf of his clients.
